You know as I get older I look back and remember things that happen to stand out from the past. I tend now to look in the mirror and see the little changes happening in my face as we age. I see the wrinkles, I see a different expression, then I see the generations of past family members and I can only hope that (in one way or another) they can look at me with some form of pride.

I have to wonder if anyone else feels this way also? I guess as we get older we look back and think, hmm, could I have, should I have, but at the same time accept what we have accomplished to that point. Though I’m not that old…cough, cough, late 30 something, I have thought about what my life has meant to this point.

Really I just hope I’ve done my family proud, from the little things we do when we are young, to the things we say that we never meant. All I know is that I love my family, though not easy to always express, it’s ALWAYS understood.

I feel thankful, loved and very grateful.
