I personally feel it’s the 2nd of the two. Recently out middle baby Bailey was in the back yard around 8pm. Shannon took the boys out, the other two bogs made it inside the house and our Bailey was starting to walk toward Shannon to go inside, when a pit-bull jumper the fence, which is about 4 feet high and jumper on Bailey, rolling them both, luckily the pit did not get a bite on Bailey and Bailey got away running yelping. I at this point started running toward the outside when Bailey came running inside yelping still. I noticed that Shannon was face to face with this pit, and in a flash his owner jumped the fence and on top of his dog, yanking it and throwing it back into his yard. The pit was 1 second from jumping Shannon…..my fear turned very quickly into anger, as we have had trouble with the neighbor behind us for a while and we plus other neighbors had reported them for not taking care of this dog and knowing that it is quite vicious. Anyway, I started yelling at this guy, after grabbing a garden hoe, and ready to swing. The guy got out of the yard and hid like a little bitch. We called animal control and the police. The bitch still hid from them even though they knew he was inside.
Well the idiot had the balls to come over to my home and apologize and of course, I didn’t keep my mouth closed, I pretty much told him that I want his dog impounding or for him to be euthanized. (Not the dog). The guy started to back up and I opened my door up more and told him that if he walked away or ran, that I would tackle him to the ground and beat his ass. The guy kept apologizing and I told him that he could tell it to a judge, that he should have had control of his dog, and what if this had been a child. He then started to tell me how his dog knew the difference and I told him to shut the “F” up because the damn dog was going to jump on Shannon and tried.
Well the guy knew he was screwed and shut up real fast. I told him that he needed to leave really quick that I couldn’t be responsible for hurting him (and trust me, I honestly wanted too, I thank God for giving me the strength to not do anything).
Well long story made shorter here…..the guy is going to Court in April and received 3 tickets from the City….of course that is just the City…..I’m not through with him yet.
AND HERE IS A TIP! IF YOU CAN’T LOVE YOUR DOGS OR CARE FOR THEM THE WAY THEY SHOULD BE, DON’T GET A “F’N” DOG! SCREW YOURSELF UP, NOT OTHER CREATURES!
